Renovation in progress. Please excuse our dust.

I had a little work done. Get used to it!
As you can see, I’m working on my blog’s appearance. The goal was/is to make it easier for you to navigate. And easier for me to manage. I hadn’t made a single change in the two-plus years Gods of Advertising has been in existence. Not being able to find the “search” button always bugged the crap out of me. Problem solved. Only now it’s the only thing I see!
Previously, just about every widget was located below the editorial. Plus I had to link all my stuff below every post. Not good. I’ve moved them all up and to the right. It harms the aesthetic but I’m going on the pretense that “utility is the new cool.” Yet, I must admit I am boggled by the many, many “share” icons. I don’t even know what half of them are. Should I? I mean what the hell is “bordom” or “camyoo?”
Are the changes useful? Tweaked some, can they be? If so, I will gladly sacrifice in the looks department. Save for my books and blogs, I promise I will never take on advertising -not that there’s anything wrong with that! This just isn’t the place.
That said, I feel like I came home to a wife who just had plastic surgery. “Er, honey, you look…super.”
